Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback William Gay has signed a deal to play for the Arizona Cardinals for the next two years. Gay in his five year career with the Steelers has put up 205 tackles, 3 sacks, 43 pass deflections, 3 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries.
The signing of William Gay will replace the loss of Richard Marshall whom the Cardinals lost in free agency to Miami. Gay, before making his decision, was trying to decide among Pittsburgh, Denver, Arizona, and Tennessee. He should be a nice addition to the team who was compared to having a Steeler-like defense in the second half of last year.
